It's finally happened: after about a year of dating (and abstaining from sex), Ciara and her NFL beau Russell Wilson are engaged!
The duo, who publicly stepped out as a couple in April last year, shared the news of their engagement via a video posted on their Instagram accounts.
"She said yes!" Rusell exclaims in the video, recorded during the pair's tropical vacation. Cici then flashes her huge diamond sparkler as she cheers, "I'm so excited. God is good."
The "I bet" singer shared the video and she captioned, "God Is So Good! I'm So Grateful For You @DangRussWilson. You Are Truly Heaven Sent, and I'm Looking Forward To Spending Forever With You."
Seattle Seahawk quarterback's also shared the video and wrote: "She said Yes!!! Since Day 1 I knew you were the one. No Greater feeling... #TrueLove @Ciara"
Earlier this year, it was suspected the 28-year-old football player would pop the question on Valentine's Day, as Cici hinted they were having "special plans."
But the pair enjoyed a dinner and live entertainment at a pre-Grammy event instead and there was no sign of a ring. Looks like Russell wanted to surprise his gal by proposing on another beautiful trip together.
Congrats Cici and Russell. Wish you a very hapy (sex life) and can't wait to see you walk down the aisle.
