You all remember Miss Ada, the YFM presenter who caused a national outrage few months ago, when photos of her alleged rape went viral and the police later revealed that the whole act was staged?.
Well according to reports, the psychologist of Miss Ada has urged the police to drop all criminal charges against Miss Ada, based on the reason that, Ada was mentally unsound during the incident.
Dr. Yao Nfodjoh a criminal psychologist is said to have examined Ada and diagnosed her with bipola disorder. Bipolar disorder is a mental condition characterized by changing periods in depression and elation.
Dr. Nfodjoh stated in a report to the Attorney general saying "we recommended that the police discontinue whatever criminal charges" against her.
Dr. Nfodjoh is said to have revealed at a press conference that, Ada in the past has been suicidal and depressed. "There was a preponderance of a mood problem with Ada." Dr. Nfodjoh said.
It is however unclear if the police will continue with the criminal investigations against Ada after this report.
