Multiple award-winning actor, John Dumelo has been appointed as the Tourism ambassador of Ghana - with immediate effect.
Though it’s unknown the responsibilities or remuneration of this position John Dumelo claims to have taken on, it seems this has landed on John’s laps because of his political association with the ruling party and his frequent travels have also contributed to score him the role.
The actor took to instagram to announce his new appointment, writing;
“Happy to be appointed tourism ambassador by the Minister of tourism. I’m happy to promote Tourism in Ghana and also sell Ghana to the rest of the world. #exploreghana #melomoment #melotourist.”
A few days ago, John Dumelo shared a photo he took with Liberia’s Vice-President-Joseph Boakai, suggesting that he met the Liberian leader to discuss certain national issues.
