Ghanaian Reggae star, Rocky Dawuni lost out to Jamaican Reggae group, Morgan Heritage on the "Best Reggae Album" award at the 58th edition of The Grammys, which took place at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California last nite.

The group beat other contenders including Barrington LevyJah Cure and Luciano  to scoop the accolade with their "Strictly Roots" album.
The group had a fruitful year in 2015. Aside releasing the"Strictly Roots" album, they also went on an album Europe tour dubbed "Strictly Roots Tour" where Ghana's Stonebwoyhad a chance to perform with the legendary band.
Even though he didn't take the nod, Rock Dawuni has set a record by becoming the first Ghanaian to be nominated for The Grammys. His Grammys nominated album "Branches Of The Same Tree" has also topped several charts and hit no. 10 on Billboard charts. He is still our winner.
