Sonnie Badu Promises To Sponsor Yaw Siki, After He Revealed He's Having A Hard Life

On Friday, Yaw Siki, former hiplife artist who has now become a preacher of the Gospel, disclosed in an interview that life has not been easy for him after his decision to leave circular music and take up the job of preaching to the world.

He revealed close friends had deserted him because they do not share the same faith anymore.

UK based Ghanaian Gospel Minister, Sonnie Badu has promised to take care of Yaw Siki, after a video of his touching interview with Joy New’s Mz Gee went viral on social media.


The "Baba" hit maker, in a post on Instagram disclosed that, the decision by Yaw Siki born Isaac Okai, to depart “from being circular artist to a preacher on the bus will not be easy. He however assured him that he has taken the best decision and because of that, his (Sonny Badu) Ministry would love to sponsor him for the next few years.
Sonnie in his post wrote; 
I would like to meet this young man who has moved from being circular artist to a preacher on the bus .. I would like our ministry to sponsor him for the next few years .. It will not be easy with the decision you have made as there will be a long suffering, however we are hear to let you know that you made the right decision .. #yawsiki”
Yaw Siki, known for his hit song, "Wope Dodo", was involved in a terrible accident on the Tema motorway back in 2013. After he recovered, he gave up circular music to preach the Gospel.
