The investigations into the 'Asamoah Gyan sextape blackmail' case which had reggae artists, Ekow Micah arrested last Tuesday seems to have yield some result.
According to a myjoyonline.com report, the police have obtained phone records and audio recordings in which the Reggae Musician is alleged to have acted a blackmailing scheme with a journalist, Osafo Anthony and Sarah Kwabla, who is said to have filed a case of rape and sodomy against Asamoah Gyan.
The three, according to the police, had forged a grand scheme to blackmail the footballer and extort money from him. The police also revealed that Sarah Kwabla is the ex-girlfriend of Ekow Micah. Micah’s woes is said to have even worsened when a police search at his Kokrobite residence on Wednesday revealed a slab of substances suspected to be Indian Hemp.
He is said to be facing a second count of unlawful possession of narcotic substance. The police say they hope to process Ekow Micah for court on Friday.
