Maame Dokono Discloses Popular TV Drama, 'Obra' Is Coming Back On TV Screens

Veteran actress and TV presenter, Grace Omaboe popularly known as Maame Dokono has hinted that Obra, will soon hit the screen as preparations to bring it back are on going.
According the actress all is set to set the ball rolling. "Yes ‘Obra’ is coming back. It’s being filmed and it will come back to your screens,” she said. She also confirmed both she and David Dontoh will be back as casts of the show and asked that, Ghanaians keep their fingers crossed for surprises.
Maame Dokonor revealed this in an interview with Bola Ray and Anita Erskine on the Starr Drive.
 Obra was a television programme that was shown on GTV in the 90s which dominated the entertainment industry. It dealt with issues relating to marriage, obedience, relationship, love, respect, communication among others. It had people like David Dontoh, Amankwaah Ampofo, Waakye and Adjoa Smart playing roles in it.
