So i reported yeserday that photos shared on the social media pages of some celebrities proved that actor, Ekow Smith Asante got married over the weeked but however details of the woman and the ceremony was unknown.

Well according to myjoyonline.com, the woman Ekow married is Nittina Sowah, his longtime girlfriend, whom he had dated for about four years.

"Ekow Smith Asante over the weekend married his long-time fiancé Nittina Sowah. The couple tied the knot on Saturday at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Holy Ghost Temple, Frafraha in Accra after dating for four years.

The church event took place immediately after an engagement ceremony at Nittina’s family home at Teshie Nungua Estate in Accra. On Sunday, the couple held a reception at the Aviation Social Centre which was attended by some bigwigs in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.

In attendance were several celebrities notable amongst them, Kofi Adjorlolo, Kalsum Sinare, Prince David Osei, Irene Opare, Samira Yakubu, Roland Adom, and Belinda Dzata. The reception witnessed spectacular performances from Riche and MzVee, from Lynx Entertainment.

Okyeame Kwame teamed up with MzVee to perform at the event. The event was officiated by Prophet Christopher Yaw Annor of Holy Ghost Temple, ICGC. Ecow Smith-Asante described his wife, now Nittina Smith-Asante, during a brief interview Myjoyonline.com as an extremely loving woman.
