Bola Ray's EIB Network Buys GHOne Television

Growing media group,  Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB)  Network, which has broadcaster Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi, a.k.a Bola Ray as its CEO, has taken over local television station GHOne, enewsgh.com can say.
A deal has been reached for ownership of the few-years-old station to change hands.
This website is also able to report that the deal comes into effect November 1, 2015, making GHOne an official addition to a group that owns other properties in radio, print and online.
A successful takeover, it brings to an end months of discussion, enewsgh.com gather from official sources, and would see EIB hand GHOne a complete makeover.
EIB in the months leading up to the takeover gave the strongest indication of how ready they were to play big in Ghana’s growing media ecosystem. Recently, the company took part in the 2015 edition of the MIPCOM Content Show in Cannes, France, in preparation for the takeoff of its television project free-to-air (FTA) TV station offering a mix of local and international entertainment and lifestyle programming, 
GHOne is also available on Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) as well as satellite. It can be accessed in the Greater Accra Region, parts of the Eastern, Central and Volta Regions, and in the Ashanti and Western Regions, as well as Tamale.
It has a total of four transmitter sites and a combined capacity of 16KW in its core coverage areas, covering over 60% of Ghanaian households and 70% of total television sets in Ghana.
EIB Network operates Starr 103.5 FM, Live 91.9 FM, Kasapa 102.3 FM all in Accra, Ultimate FM (Kumasi), Agoo FM (Nkawkaw), and Empire FM (Takoradi). Four new radio stations are going up in Cape Coast, Koforidua, Tamale and Kumasi in the next few months. The group also owns The Daily Heritage Newspaper.
