Veteran Ghanaian Actor, Rev. Eddie Coffie has been confirmed dead.
According to reports, he passed away last Friday dawn while on admission at the Ridge Hospital in Accra. He is said to have been battling with an unknown ailment for some months the now and went into coma last week.
Rev. Coffie was President of the Ghana Actors Guild (GAG) , taking over from the ailing Nii Odoi Mensah who had been the President of the guild for several years. He was elected president of the Guild in October last year.
He was the Greater Accra Secretary of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches (GPCC).
