PHOTOS: Christabel Ekeh Goes Bald To Support Breast Cancer Awareness

October is the breast cancer awareness month and actress, Christabel Ekeh in her latest photo shoot, took a bold step by shaving her hair down to show her support for the initiative.

Many have commend her for her actions and she believes there is a need to champion this awareness, which she's happy doing.

In a recent chat with Ghanacelebrities.com, Christabel revealed that she lost two of her family members through breast cancer, therefore urged people not to believe that the disease is only among the foreigners as it also here amongst us.

“Breast Cancer upon hearing, one might be made to believe is an infection amongst only foreigners but believe me, it's amongst us here. Not too long ago, I lost two of my most adorable family members through Breast Cancer so it comes home too”, she said.

“This month, we’ve seen progress as the Global Awareness has improved with the buzz created on social media and other platforms but i believe we can do more as entertainers to help create the awareness here in Africa, especially educate people on the best lifestyle choices”, she added.
