'Prophet Sarkodie' Explains Why He Prophesied Anas' Latest Piece In His Pizza & Burger Song

Hiplife Artiste, Sarkodie has stated that his prediction on ace journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ latest expose in his populae 2012 'Pizza and burger' song was something he saw coming at the time.

Sarkodie in the song had warned judges to desist from taking bribes. The song, which was produced in collaboration with Jayso, has since become a talking point after Anas' latest investigative piece, captured judges taking bribes.

Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show, he said: “I think it was predictable but maybe I went directly to where it is now at that time coincidentally…I saw that coming" he said.

"I didn’t see him stopping because for you to devote your time to do all those things he did, how you can stop.  I was just rapping based on what I think he will do. We don’t even know if he is going to do some on us", he added.

The lyricks from his song which has become popular since, reads “.Judge fuo aa mo gye amanfo) dough, monhw3 no yie ooo, Anas eeba oo.”

This literally means: “the judges taking people's money should be careful because Anas is coming”. The public has hailed the rapper for what many described as a vivid prophecy of the corruption scandal

Sarkodie has produced songs on various challenges Ghana is currently battling with including migration, inflation, politics and inconsistent power supply.
