Veteran Ghanaian Actor and former president of the Ghana Actors Guild (GAG),  Nii-Odoi Mensah was diagnosed with kidney disease some years ago and he has been seeing for help since,  and fortunately he has been heard.
The ailing actor appeared on the Pundit show on GhOne to talk about the sudden death of his friend, another veteran actor,  Rev Eddie Coffie, whom he remembered as a very calm person. “Eddie was very calm and i was the only person who provoke him but i know him to be calm and quiet person", he said.
He also spoke of his sickness and how much he spends on his dialysis and whiles the interview was on-going,  to their surprise,  CEO of Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB), Bola Ray sent a text message to the host, George Quaye donating an amount of $5000 to the actor, to cater for his treatment.
A stunned Nii-Odoi expressed his gratitude to EIB Network saying,  “where there is hope there is God i thanked the CEO of EIB network for the support and may God richly bless the EIB network. “I came to this programme to talk about the demise of my brother and it has being a blessing.”
