About 45 to 50 per cent of her body had been burned in the attack. Her injuries became infected and ultimately killed her though medical staff had originally thought she would recover from her injuries.
This incident took place in a remote village of Mullan district in Central Punjab province. Police have since arrested a 24-year-old suspect.
