But this year, she made it a little special, as she brought together two orphanages - the Osu Children’s home and the Teshie Children’s home. The kids enjoyed the whole day with the actress as she gathered them at the Ghana disney land (Kids Cottage) in Djorwulu, with the help of her manager Samira Yakubu and actress, Kalsoume Sinare, C. E. O of Ghana Movie Awards, Fred Nuamah and others were there to support.
They played with balloons, in bouncers, slides, swings, football, play with Mackey mouse, face painting and many other activities. There was food, good music, etc and presentation of cash and items(bags of rice, oil, drinks, biscuits, books, toiletries, etc)
were made to both orphanages.
Jackie is set to launch her Foundation (The Jackie Appiah Foundation) soon. Global Mobile Networks and Golden Tulip Hotel delivered the actress beautifully decorated birthday cakes.
