The son of renowned movie producer, Abdul Sallam Mumuni has sadly died. The little boy is said to have drowned in their swimming pool on Wednesday, December 30.
According to reports, the child was only two years old and the youngest son of the movie producer. Though Abdul Sallam himself has not officially announced the death of his son, a post on Venus Film Production’s official Facebook page stated,
“Innaa lillahi wa innaa ilaihi raajiun
Our condolences to Salam (Alhaji), Ghana’s no. 1 film producer/marketer, who lost his son today. The little boy fell into his swimming pool at home. When the household went to his rescue, it was too late. May his soul rest in peace. What a time to lose a child. May Allah grant him Janna and strengthen the parent”.
The boy is said to have been buried today in accordance with the tradition of the Islamic religion. Our heart goes out to Abdul Salam and his family, may his son rest in peace. Amen.
